What we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
Information you share
Shelter applications collect organization details, a contact person, job title, work email, optional phone and website, area, community served, kit quantities, supply needs, product restrictions, delivery timing, notes, and contact consent. We do not request resident names or medical information.
Volunteer signups collect name, email, optional phone, area, age range, interests, availability, individual or group details, optional accessibility needs and notes, and volunteer communication consent. Community updates are a separate, optional choice.
Contact forms collect name, email, message, and contact consent. Update signups collect email and consent. Event registrations collect name, email, event choice, and event communication consent. Admin accounts use email/password or Google sign-in and separately assigned permissions.
How information is used
We use submissions to review partnerships, organize volunteers and events, respond to messages, and maintain requested update subscriptions. Update signup currently saves your interest; automated community updates are not enabled.
Storage and access
Information is stored using Lovable Cloud. Submission and donation records are restricted to authorized administrators. Public visitors cannot browse other people’s records. We do not collect card details, and online donations are not currently enabled.
Emails and your choices
Form confirmations appear on screen. App confirmation and notification emails are not currently enabled. You can ask to access, correct, or remove your information, or withdraw communication consent, through our contact form. Required operational information may be retained when needed to fulfill a request or legal obligation.
Cookies and security
Admin sign-in uses browser storage to maintain a session. Forms include a hidden spam check, validation, and duplicate protection. No advertising trackers have been added by Kits 4 Care. Hosting services may process basic technical information to serve and protect the website.
